Job Summary
Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and indoor air quality investigations for asbestos, mold, and lead-based paint. Perform scientific field surveys across diverse projects while evaluating contractor work for regulatory compliance and public safety. Prepare well-documented written reports and correspondence, participate in periodic meetings to discuss project activities, and ensure all project activities adhere to specific job requirements. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, with frequent short-term travel generally under five days. This role is based in the southeastern US with opportunities for career growth within a culture valuing expertise and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in environmental site Assessments (soil and groundwater)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Proficient in the MS Office suite with experience in writing technical reports
- Ability to climb a ladder and lift weights to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work in disaster environments (hurricane/disaster response)
- Primarily limited to the southeastern US, with periodic additional travel
- Frequent travel is required but is generally short-term (2-5 days). Longer trips may be requested
- Periodic work in hot/humid environments
