Job Summary
Design and supervise complex experiments and procedures adhering to regulatory requirements such as EPA, FDA, and OECD. Develop technical methods to solve problems, troubleshoot instrumentation, and conduct studies determining chemical persistence and environmental behavior. Perform advanced data evaluations, review work, and write technical reports and standard operating procedures. Serve as an expert for technical issues, potentially acting as a primary business contact or Study Director monitoring GLP compliance. Confers with colleagues on research, prepares technical papers, and conducts staff training on laboratory techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology or other directly related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in an environmental fate laboratory
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Full-time employment
- Monday-Friday schedule
- 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. schedule
- Overtime as needed
- Some weekend shifts as needed
- Commutable distance of Easton, MD
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Three years of directly relevant experience
- GLP study director experience
- Project management experience
