Job Summary
Receives and prioritizes requests for relief coverage using computerized staffing systems, allocating staff based on skill set and unit needs while calling in relief personnel. Processes approved requests for vacations, leaves, and terminations with appropriate documentation, manages timekeeping records for nursing staff, and handles payroll inquiries. Maintains records on relief staff including contact information and availability, compiles workload statistics, and performs clerical duties such as answering phones and scheduling meetings. Requires Grade 12 education, three years of related experience, and proficiency with computers. In-person onsite training spans six weeks with shifts starting at 5:30AM, 6AM, or 2PM. Salary is $31.19/hour.
