Job Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Maintain licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in good standing within the State of Georgia and hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. Work independently to deliver care while adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act. Shifts run from 7 PM to 7 AM with weekend requirements. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- 7PM-7AM
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
