Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Surgical ICU, including initial and ongoing health status assessments. Document planned interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaboratively revise care plans with multidisciplinary teams. Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while participating in process improvement activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Requires a current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN after five years of employment. Scheduled for 36 weekly night hours in a 24/7/365 environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
