Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Surgery Pre-Op department, including initial health status assessments, outcome identification, and care plan revisions. Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while actively participating in process improvement for clinical quality and safety. Provide general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in a 24/7/365 environment. Maintain BLS/ACLS certification and hold a current Ohio RN license. Requires a BSN with five years of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BLS/ACLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
