Job Summary
The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using the nursing process in the Pre-Op setting; provides family-centered nursing care, patient and family education from admission through discharge, and thorough documentation. Responsibilities include supervising/coordinating care, delegating tasks as appropriate, administering medications and treatments safely, ensuring clinic processes comply with FMC policies, and maintaining equipment and supplies for patient care. Requires completion of an accredited nursing program (DN/Diploma/ADN/BSN), valid Ohio nursing license, CPR certification, and ability to physically assist with patient handling. Part-time, on-site role at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing, ADN, or BSN)
- Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio
- CPR required
