Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality delivery. Function within established policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability. This role supports the nursing team at Eastside Medical Center. New graduates are eligible, though hospital experience is preferred. Current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses
- Mother/Baby- NRP
- NICU- NRP
