Job Summary
PACU Staff RN at Stamford Health in Stamford, CT, full-time days (10am–8pm), responsible for pre-operative, post-anesthesia, and phase II patient care in collaboration with the health-care team. Provides safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing, manages IVs and airway, monitors respiratory equipment, supports discharge planning, and participates in cross-training across Perioperative services. Requires current CT nursing license; BSN preferred; BLS/ACLS required; PALS within first year; minimum 2 years hospital/ambulatory surgical center experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut nursing license required
- BSN Preferred
- BLS/ ACLS certification required
- PALS certification within first year of hire
- Peri anesthesia certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in either a hospital or ambulatory surgical center setting required
