Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients while documenting outcomes and revising care plans based on multidisciplinary data. Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and actively participate in process improvement activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Provide professional nursing services in a 24/7/365 surgery department with a 30-minute call response time including driving and reporting to the Charge RN. Requires an active Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of OR experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
- at least 2 years of previous OR RN experience in a hospital setting
- 30-minute response time
- Must be able to drive
- Must be able to park
- Must be able to walk into the facility
- Must be able to change
- Must be able to report to the Charge RN
