Job Summary
Staff RN for Inpatient Observation/Overflow Unit on Night shift. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the Nursing Process, supervising non-RN staff, acting as preceptor to new staff/students, documenting and communicating care plans, collaborating with healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Requires CT RN license, BSN preferred, BLS, 2+ years of experience; full-time 3 x 13-hour night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays in Stamford, CT.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid Connecticut RN license
- BSN strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- Maintain a minimum of 6 contact hours annually
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position
