Staff RN - MPCU - Full Time - Nights at Fairfield Medical Center. Bonus: $15,000. The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Provides quality nursing care based on a family centered approach. Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process. Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process. Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care. Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner. Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures. Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.
