Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the Pulmonary Unit in the new Main Tower. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Work alongside hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to provide high-quality nursing care for patients with respiratory issues. Shifts run days from 7am to 7pm as part of the growing unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
