Job Summary
Provides general nursing care on Medical Unit 1; responsibilities include initial and ongoing health status assessment, planning and documenting interventions to meet patient needs, and evaluating responses to care within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization, with leadership in process improvements and adherence to nursing standards. Requires RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS); day shift with a 36-hour workweek. The unit cares for medical-surgical patients, including a Long Stay bed option, and involves collaboration with PSAs, pharmacists, and hospitalists.
