Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Unit 1, providing initial and ongoing health status assessments. Delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Document planned interventions and evaluate responses to achieve patient outcomes while participating in multidisciplinary process improvement activities. Maintain focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization. Requires current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN after five years of employment. Night shift with 24 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
