Job Summary
Staff RN – Labor & Delivery (night) provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum in a 24/7 department. Responsibilities include assessment/diagnosis, planning outcomes, implementing and evaluating care, and leadership to support quality, safety, and efficiency within a High Reliability Organization framework. The role involves delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in process improvements to meet clinical quality and patient-satisfaction targets. Requires Ohio RN license (or multi-state compact), BLS, and a BSN after five years of employment. Scheduled weekly hours: 36. OhioHealth emphasizes equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
