Staff RN - Labor and Delivery (variable shift)

Job Summary
Provides general nursing care to patients and families in diverse, acute care settings. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team; participates in process improvement to improve clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and financial performance. Role requires 3X12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule; weekend/holiday/on-call requirements; and ongoing professional development. Minimum qualifications include BLS, RN licensure, and Ohio Board of Nursing eligibility. Strongly preferred: 1 year inpatient RN experience, NRP within 6 months, and C-EFM at 1 year; Department Labor and Delivery; high reliability organization framework; and commitment to learning and growth within OhioHealth.
