Job Summary
Staff RN in the Intensive Care Unit provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned ICU patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Supervises other team members, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care, and adheres to unit standards. Requires a BSN (preferred), current BLS, Texas nursing license or eligibility, and at least 6 months of RN experience. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet-designated hospital with a strong reputation and comprehensive ICU services. Shift is overnight (7pm-7am) in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
