Job Summary
Staff RN in the Intensive Care Unit providing highly professional nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process; directs and supervises other team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary staff to ensure age-appropriate care. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), BLS certification, Texas RN license or eligibility, and at least 6 months of RN experience. Responsibilities include communication, teamwork, accountability, patient experience improvement, professional growth, and supporting a winning team at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
