Job Summary
Registered nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Requires completion from an accredited nursing program with a Texas nursing license (or eligibility), BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience; BSN is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
