Staff RN IMCU, Fulltime Nights

Coordinate and deliver patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit utilizing the Nursing Process, assessing physical and psychosocial conditions, and developing individualized plans of care. Provide direct patient advocacy, medication administration adhering to the five rights, and education for patients and families while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. Supervise non-RN personnel, act as a resource for ancillary staff, and mentor new staff or students as requested. Document all aspects of patient care clearly and participate in performance improvement, risk management, and clinical research activities. Maintain equipment, support hospital-wide initiatives, and complete required continuous training and education. Requires 2 years of IMCU experience, a BSN preferred, and a Connecticut RN license. Fulltime nights shift (7pm to 8am) with rotating weekends and holidays.
