Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients across diverse acute settings while delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments; document planned interventions to achieve patient-specific outcomes; and revise care plans based on multidisciplinary evaluative data. Lead process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance within a High Reliability Organization framework. Requires current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and BSN after five years of employment. Operates 24/7/365 with a variable night shift schedule of 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree: Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
