Staff RN - Full Time Day Shift - Operating Room

Perform circulating and/or scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room under the direction of the Director of IntraOperative Services and supervision of the OR Supervisor. Provide direct patient care in accordance with AORN standards and SJH policies while maintaining a safe surgical environment. Manage fiscal responsibility for supplies and materials, develop continuing education for staff and new employees, and conduct preceptorships for nursing students. Actively participate in performance improvement activities and provide back-up assistance to the Charge Validator position. Maintain and edit preference cards with appropriate training. Requires an ASN with 1-3 years of experience and an active Maine RN license.
