Job Summary
Staff RN for the Emergency Department, 12-hour night shifts (7:00PM to 7:30AM) in a union, non-exempt setting. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for acutely ill patients; administer medications with competency; IV therapy; supervise/coordinate with LVN/CNA/nursing students; participate in performance improvement activities; adhere to nursing standards and professional behavior; maintain positive working relationships and teamwork within the unit. Required: California RN license, BLS; ACLS when appropriate; associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
