Job Summary
Provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients in accordance with medical plans, critical pathways, and established policies. Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating and delegating with other professionals. Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and adhere to NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke Center educational requirements. Perform any other job-related duties as requested by the Nurse Manager or Director. This full-time day shift role (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) is located in Greenwood, SC, for Self Regional Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
- BLS certified
- ACLS within 1 year
- Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia within 1 year
- NIHHS Certificate within 1 year
- Must adhere to (meet) the requirements for educational hours as outlined in the NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke Center
