Job Summary

Assess individualized patient needs and provide nursing care using a Family Centered approach. Communicate patient care priorities to LPNs, PCAs, Unit Coordinators, and Allied Health personnel while monitoring physical, psychological, and social needs. Plan, implement, educate, and evaluate care using Evidence-Based Practices, utilizing therapeutic communication to ensure quality and safety. Engage in workplace community activities by participating in data collection, auditing, and quality improvement initiatives. Document care according to organizational standards. Requires BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within five years, current Ohio RN license, and CPR certification. NRP, PALS, ACLS, or APHON certification required or obtainable. 40-hour week with rotating shifts and 30-minute on-call response time. Required Qualifications

BSN; Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
Current CPR certification
Willingness to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit
Quality and safety patient care skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to provide culturally competent care with a demonstrated commitment to ensuring quality and safety initiatives
Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
