Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients in Emergency, Intensive Care, and Intermediate care units in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Independently plan and execute care for high-acuity needs across these departments. Maintain Certified Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) credentials and hold a Georgia RN license in good standing. Requires two years of experience in Emergency or Critical Care. Work hours are 0645 to 1915. Join the award-winning Northside Hospital team in Atlanta to support complex patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in ED or Critical Care
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
