Job Summary
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Manage care of an assigned group of patients while reflecting values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. Maintain certification as a Registered Nurse in Georgia with BLS, and require two years of experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services, or Electrophysiology. Work 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. with on-call rotation; no weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On-Call Requirements: Yes
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
