Job Summary
Direct patient care in a safe and effective manner by directing PCA activity, synthesizing patient information, and assessing patients. Plan and implement treatment plans based on MD orders while teaching patients and families. Integrate patient care standards into all clinical activities and support the organization's strategic plan and performance improvement goals. Maintain full understanding of core values including customer service, patient rights, and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of RN School of Nursing
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS-HCPC
- Current ACLS (Excludes NICU)
- Current NRP (Labor & Delivery / OB Acute / NICU)
- Current PALS (Emergency Dept. only)
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- One year acute care experience preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Basic Dysrhythmia Class completion: Optional for RN with at least 6 months experience, and successful completion of EKG competency exam
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
- Emergency Nursing Course preferred
- NIH Certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior 2
