Job Summary
Staff RN/Admit Nurse for the Emergency Department at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; providing general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum; leading and participating in process improvement and quality initiatives; delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act; and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO). Requires Day shift, part-time scheduling (24 hours weekly); must hold an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN (BSN required at 5 years of employment). Focus on patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to nursing standards and department policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
- BLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
