Job Summary
Develop GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver/Power Amplifier MMICs for Communications, Test & Measurement, Industrial, and Aerospace & Defense applications. Design layouts, perform electromagnetic simulation, thermal analysis, and PA linearization using industry-standard EDA tools like ADS, Momentum, and Sonnet. Execute microwave/millimeter-wave circuit design and validate results with RF/microwave test equipment including spectrum and network analyzers. Collaborate with top industry professionals on complex problems spanning autonomous vehicles, drones, and remote healthcare. Requires MSEE/PhD in EE with 7+ years of experience, proficiency in Cadence and AWR, and knowledge of device physics. 1st shift/day role with 10% travel; US citizenship or green card required for export licensing.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies
- MMIC design and layout
- electro-magnetic simulation

- industry standard EDA tools like ADS and Momentum/RFPro/Sonnet
- MSEE/PhD degree in EE with background in RF/microwave engineering
- minimum of 7+ years of experience
- Ph.D. in relevant areas could be counted towards industry experience depending on the thesis
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder
- Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro etc.
- Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling
- Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design experience
- Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
- Must have excellent teamwork and communications skills
- Remote opportunities may be possible for this role
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement is a plus
