Staff Respiratory Therapist

Staff Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic, diagnostic, technical and teaching respiratory therapy services under supervision, adhering to professional standards. Requires entry-to-practice credential in Respiratory Therapy and current MARRT registration; CSRT membership preferred. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work cooperatively with disciplines, knowledge of physiology and patient care, and capacity to organize assignments with minimal supervision. Must be proficient with computers and be able to handle physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment; may work extended hours and varied shifts. In-person role based in Winnipeg at Misericordia Health Centre; responsibilities include contributing to pulmonary rehabilitation program and maintaining high standards of clinical practice in a hospital setting.
