Job Summary
The Staff Research Associate IV, Supervisor will serve as a program manager and senior clinical research coordinator for a diverse portfolio of research activities, including multicenter clinical trials and local investigator-initiated studies. Responsibilities include overseeing research timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing financial oversight for the Principal Investigator’s projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the incumbent will supervise research coordinators, manage clinical trial project coordination, and contribute to protocol development. A Master’s degree with relevant supervisory experience is required, along with strong organizational and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with relevant supervisory or budget management experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively
- Understanding of critical aspects of project management including tracking, enrollment, retention, regulatory compliance, data management, and staff supervision
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of research project management experience
- At least 2 years of employee supervision experience
- At least 2 years of industry trial experience
- At least 2 years of regulatory work experience in clinical trials
- Prior experience being part of an academic clinical research group
