Staff Registered Nurse - Special Care Unit - Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care for pediatric through advanced-age patients using the nursing process and primary care principles. Assess and document patient needs, nursing diagnoses, and discharge planning within the EMR while reviewing MD orders and administering medications with strict adherence to the five Rs. Implement medical plans of care, maintain IV access, and evaluate patient responses to teaching and interventions daily. Reassess the plan of care every shift to ensure quality delivery, function as a role model for staff, and resolve problems among peers while following all hospital policies and procedures.
