Staff Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Observation - Part-time - Nights 7p-730a

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care for pediatric through advanced-age patients using primary nursing principles. Assess and diagnose patient needs, document findings in the EMR, and develop realistic problem lists in collaboration with patients and families. Implement medical plans of care, administer medications and blood products following hospital policy, and maintain IV access with regular site assessments. Reassess patient responses and modify care plans as needed while functioning as a role model for staff. Requires a valid NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications within six months, and works nights 7p–7:30a.
