Staff Registered Nurse, Medical ICU

Staff Registered Nurse in Medical ICU provides comprehensive patient care under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care; supervising non-RN personnel; serving as Charge Nurse; developing and documenting individualized plans of care with involvement of patient and family; coordinating with the healthcare team and ensuring readiness for discharge. Demonstrates neuro-focused nursing skills including neuro assessment, airway management, and care for patients on ventilators, with procedures such as suctioning as indicated. Requires CT RN license and at least 1 year of Neonatal ICU experience; proficiency with electronic patient records and internet-based literature searches. Location: Stamford, CT.
