Job Summary
Conduct evening imaging procedures, reviewing patient history and physician orders while educating patients to ensure cooperation. Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards and performing quality control checks. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, then analyze results to identify and fix image quality issues. Work within scope of job requiring critical thinking and decisive judgment with minimal supervision. Requires ARRT registration and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
