Staff QA Engineer

Job Summary
Staff QA Engineer responsible for defining and delivering test strategy and automation validating mission-critical advertising workflows across Warner Bros. Discovery’s global ecosystem. Own quality strategy for complex distributed advertising systems across real-time and batch workflows; design test approaches across APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and end-to-end flows (UI and non-UI); build scalable automated test suites with determinism and maintainability; integrate regression, performance, and data validation into CI/CD; drive shift-left testing by partnering early in design cycles. Architect and standardize scalable test frameworks; establish quality gates; provide cross-functional quality partnership with Engineering, Product, and Data teams; mentor engineers and drive root-cause analysis to improve release readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience building automated testing and quality practices for enterprise-scale systems and complex integrations
- Coding in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Hands-on API, integration, and performance testing experience
- Knowledge of AdTech advertising workflows and data governance validations
- Strong collaboration and mentorship abilities
Desired Qualifications
