Job Summary
Own and evolve Syllo's overall quality assurance strategy, establishing scalable processes that support rapid, high-confidence releases. Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks that integrate seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline, while evaluating tools to expand coverage and reduce manual effort. Champion quality across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Product Operations by proactively identifying edge cases and failure modes before they reach production. Leverage AI to modernize workflows, including generating test cases, accelerating exploratory testing, and analyzing failures to increase release confidence.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- significant experience in automation
- Experience owning QA with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced software organization
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable QA processes and automation strategies
- Strong product instincts with the ability to understand complex workflows and advocate for an exceptional user experience
- Experience driving quality across cross-functional teams
- Strong experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Experience testing AI or LLM-powered products
- Experience building or significantly evolving a QA function in a growing startup
- Proficiency in programming languages
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Experience with API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Familiarity with modern bug tracking and test management tools
- Experience implementing AI-assisted testing workflows
