Job Summary
Staff QA Engineer on an eCommerce platform responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans across front-end, back-end, API integrations, system performance, and E2E testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs, prioritize tests, and ensure quality is integrated into each sprint. Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or TestNG to reduce manual testing and increase coverage across multiple domains (e.g., payment gateway, shipping API, inventory management). Perform manual testing, report defects with clear reproduction steps, manage test data, and ensure alignment with QA processes and regulatory requirements. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, execute E2E tests, and conduct globalization, internationalization, and localization testing for an international eCommerce platform. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years QA experience with 3+ years in eCommerce, strong automation skills, Agile/Scrum/TDD experience, and collaboration and mentoring capabilities. Location: Seoul Office, Korea.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering (QA) with 3+ years in eCommerce platforms
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Pytest
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience working with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior QA engineers is a plus
- Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g., ISTQB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker), or microservices architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
- Globalization testing: Expertise in testing international eCommerce platforms, including language translations and cultural adaptations
- Internationalization testing: Experience in testing eCommerce platforms for different countries’ regulations and technical needs
- Localization testing: Proven track record in testing eCommerce platforms to meet specific regional or local market demands
- Experience with Test Scenarios Digitalization
