Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations, focused clinical assessments, and psychological interventions for patients across inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and clinic settings. Provide staff consultation and clinical supervision while overseeing program development and multidisciplinary initiatives. Deliver services aligned with network departmental goals in a rural Northern New York community featuring 300 inpatient beds and a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from APA/CPA accredited program or equivalent
- Doctorate from APA/CPA accredited Counseling Psychology program if training is commensurate with role requirements
- Clinical License in New York State as a clinical psychologist
- Postgraduate experience in a clinical psychiatric setting which included clinical supervision by a licensed clinician
- Training and experience working with patients with needs and behavioral challenges to be addressed
- Previous experience supervising Clinical Psychology graduate students, interns/ residents and/or postdoctoral fellows
