Job Summary
Staff Psychologist for the McLean 3East Partial Hospital Program (PHP), a DBT-focused program serving adolescents and young adults aged 14 through early 20s. Join a full-time role in a renowned DBT program housed within an academic medical center, collaborating with experts to provide assessment, therapy, and family involvement. Implement evidence-based practices including CBT, ERP, DBT, and ACT; conduct clinical interviews and deliver individual and group therapy; contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive care to youth with suicidality, self-harm, and emotional dysregulation within a four-week PHP structure. Qualifications include PsyD in Clinical or Child Psychology and active state licensure or eligibility; experience in consultation, and proficiency in therapeutic techniques and time-management in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology OR Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Child Psychology
- State Psychologist License or eligible for licensure - preferred
- Experience in consultation with patients and staff, evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT), and clinical intervention with children and/or adolescents
- 0-1 year preferred experience in related clinical settings
- Strong clinical interviewing and assessment/therapy skills; ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands and time effectively
