Job Summary
Conduct rapid-access telemedicine intakes and prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone for members in the early weeks of treatment. Maintain a panel of maintenance members through monthly provider groups and individual sessions, while coordinating transitions with community providers. Provide coverage for makeup groups, cross-cover colleagues during absences, and rotate on-call urgent prescription support. Complete all intake and maintenance documentation accurately on the same business day in compliance with HIPAA. This role supports the medical leadership team in launching Groups into new markets and piloting new service lines.
Required Qualifications
- Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active state license in good standing
- Willing and able to become licensed in multiple other states where Groups operates or will operate soon
- Willingness and ability to become credentialed with all government and private health plans with whom Groups Recover Together is in network
- Ability to see member in-person at several state locations
- At least 1 year of experience managing OUD with buprenorphine, preferably within the Groups Recovery System
- At least 1 year experience working in a team-based-care setting with behavioral health providers (therapists, social workers, case managers, etc)
- At least 2 years experience working with a similar member population, preferably within primary care of behavioral health setting
- Adequate internet connectivity to support telemedicine (if working from home)
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 10M download and 5M upload package or higher, as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location
- Ability to demonstrate recovery-sensitive behaviors, including choice of language, attitudes and interactions with members and staff
- Ability to maintain courteous and professional in all communications (verbal and written) with staff and members
- Required to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved
