Job Summary
Support engineering design, analysis, and optimization of renewable natural gas, biogas, and utility infrastructure projects. Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines while conducting field investigations to assess site conditions. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables throughout the lifecycle, including bid evaluations, vendor selection, and procurement support. Provide technical assistance during construction, startup, and commissioning by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and verifying compliance during site inspections. Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, safety standards, and permitting requirements while maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to resolve complex technical challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering and project experience
- Demonstrated understanding of project delivery processes, engineering principles, and construction practices
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Working knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel regularly to project sites throughout California and other company operating areas as needed
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Must be able to bend, squat, and crawl in tight spaces

- Experience supporting capital projects in renewable energy, biogas, natural gas, utilities, industrial processing, wastewater, agriculture, or related industries
