Staff Production Control Specialist - Supply Chain Management

Job Summary
Manage supply plan activities for third-party vendors, overseeing demand forecasting, inventory levels, logistics, and open customer orders to maximize delivery fulfillment and revenue. Plan and prepare Production Orders via SAP, coordinating monthly forecasts with OSATs to resolve material shortages and ensure timely shipping. Monitor order fulfillment progress, devise contingency plans, and analyze inventory metrics including Days of Inventory to address slow-moving stock. Maintain planning parameters master data and drive improvements in On-Time Delivery, cycle time, and B2B transaction statistics. This role supports the broader supply chain function within Renesas Electronics, an embedded semiconductor solution provider shaping technology for automotive, industrial, and IoT sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management /supply chain/engineering or Operation Planning
- 3 to 5 years' related working experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment or subcon management
- Good analysis with planning (SCM) sensitivity
- Able to work & communicate well with OSATs
- Strong sense of urgency and of responsibility and deadline-driven
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the industry or similar setting with end-to-end supply chain understanding is an added advantage
- Experience in SAP, Kinaxis, ERP systems operation and control is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel is an added advantage
