Job Summary
Staff Product Security Engineer with 8+ years of experience in embedded automotive security, ISO 21434 and UN R155 knowledge, and hands-on risk analyses, testing, and validation of security requirements across vehicle ECUs and features. Lead Threat Assessments, derive security requirements, and develop both manual and automated tests (Python, Go, Java, C, C++, Rust) for SIL/HIL environments. Collaborate with security architecture, software development, and GRC teams to ensure CSMS compliance and evidence for type approval and homologation. Role emphasizes proactive risk treatment, security controls design, and capability to work in fast-paced teams within a JV between Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies. Preferred qualifications include a M.Sc. in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, 8+ years of risk analyses/testing, 5+ years in automotive or embedded development, 3+ years validating ECU security requirements, and deep familiarity with ISO:21434 and UN R155.”,
