Job Summary
Staff Product Security Engineer responsible for acting as the security interface between the Endoluminal unit and centralized product security teams. Lead secure-by-design practices across embedded medical devices and cloud-based applications; provide hands-on leadership in security architecture, threat modeling, and risk assessments; collaborate with software teams on interfaces to imaging systems, networks, and service tooling; translate corporate security standards into product implementations; participate in design reviews, code reviews, vulnerability management, pen testing, and incident response; support regulatory security requirements for medical devices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in software product security
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering (embedded and cloud)
- Experience with embedded system or device security (secure boot, firmware)
- Experience securing cloud-native applications and services (identity, APIs, data protection)
- Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and security architecture design
- Familiarity with NIST and ISO standards
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries and communicate with stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software product security or cybersecurity engineering
- Hands-on experience with embedded system or device security
- Experience securing cloud-native applications and services
- Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and security architecture design
- Familiarity with NIST and ISO standards
- Ability to communicate across engineering, product, and security stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field
