Staff Product Manager - LATAM

Job Summary
Based in São Paulo, lead product strategy and execution for Nium's LATAM expansion with Brazil as the immediate priority. Own Brazil activation roadmap, including direct PIX integration milestones, Corretora licence application workstreams, and regulatory/partnership delivery plans. Build and maintain relationships with local infrastructure providers; translate evolving Brazilian regulatory requirements into actionable product decisions and represent product interests with regulators, banking partners, and enterprise clients. Oversee LATAM rollouts across Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, establishing a scalable product operating model and prioritising opportunities to align product investment with revenue potential. Partner with Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Commercial teams to deliver the LATAM roadmap; operate with autonomy in a matrixed organisation. Contribute to broader product strategy and ensure LATAM insights are visible at leadership level.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, with meaningful time spent on payments infrastructure, cross-border payments, or financial services in Brazil and/or broader LATAM
- Deep knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem — PIX, FX services, and the evolving regulatory environment — including hands-on experience building or launching PIX-integrated products
- Proven track record navigating licensing and regulatory processes in LATAM, with the ability to convert complex compliance requirements into product delivery plans
- Experience working with or evaluating local financial infrastructure providers with an understanding of the strategic trade-offs involved
- Demonstrated ability to operate with significant autonomy in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments — you are comfortable setting your own direction
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish a strong advantage
