Job Summary

Own the long-term strategy and roadmap for the inspection platform, aligning products and teams behind shared goals while partnering with finance to build business cases for major bets. Drive discovery for new capabilities, make build or partner decisions, and lead go-to-market planning for launches spanning Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Set the standard for AI-native full-stack work, define responsible-use guidelines, and identify strategic risks across the portfolio. Mentor senior product talent and evolve decision frameworks as market conditions shift. This Staff Product Manager role focuses on owning the vehicle inspection platform that powers ACV's trusted digital marketplace for used vehicles. You will lead through influence across multiple teams and functions to drive growth and maintain product craft excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Proven track record owning strategy and delivery for a product area or portfolio that spans multiple teams
  • Fluency with AI-native product workflows, including rapid prototyping
  • Product discovery, prioritization, product-strategy, and measurement (KPI) skills
  • Business and financial acumen, including building business cases and financial models to present to executives
  • Excellent communication and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience mentoring and growing other PMs
  • Strong customer focus and sound product judgment
  • Direct experience in vehicle inspection, vehicle conditioning, or the automotive industry
  • Go-to-market and release planning experience
  • Bachelor's Degree

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience building platform or API products that other teams build on
  • Experience with field-operations, mobile, or data-capture products
  • Experience with products where data accuracy or trust is mission-critical, such as trust and safety, fraud, or quality
  • Experience with condition-data or computer-vision/ML-powered products
  • Technical depth, such as prior software engineering experience, fluency querying data with SQL, and comfort reading and reasoning about code
