Staff Product Manager

Job Summary

Drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for tools enabling independent candidates to run, win, and serve. Partner with CPO, design, and engineering teams to turn ideas into scalable solutions that build adoption funnels. Organize user research and testing across a politically diverse base while productizing emerging AI tools to improve features and scale operations. Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to validate ideas, learn from feedback, and improve metrics on existing products. Report to CPO and collaborate with designers and engineers to iteratively solve problems in real-time.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year track record of taking products from 0 to 1 and beyond
  • instincts to know when to pivot
  • discipline to let data prove it
  • proven A-player with a 8+ year track record of building tech products
  • increasing responsibility and success
  • built something from scratch or were very early on a product that went from 0 or 0.5 to 1 (and beyond)
  • quick to pivot when the need arises or a better path emerges
  • obsessed with your user
  • research them and proactively try to make them as successful as possible by improving the product
  • analytical with a metrics mindset
  • data, optimization, and problem solving skills
  • actively using emerging AI tools
  • understand the basics of prompt engineering
  • baseline understanding of how the American political system works
  • able to work independently
  • enjoy collaborating with others to iteratively solve problems in real-time
  • thrive working at the startup speed that our mission demands
  • pursue understanding user perspectives and behavior with curiosity and empathy
  • communicate clearly, directly, and respectfully
  • open to delivering and receiving candid feedback that helps the team grow
  • physically located in the US
  • not currently based outside of the US

Desired Qualifications

  • experience working in small, tight-knit, fast-paced remote teams
  • professional or volunteer experience in civic tech, democracy reform, political campaigns, or social impact initiatives
  • tired of sitting on the sidelines while democracy fails to meet its potential — and you're ready to act
